To be efficient, you’ll have to organize your buildings, according to their specific deployment rules.
i.e., when you click on a building’s icon such as Cartel’s Vehicles Bay (see opposite picture), a construction grid appears.
The grid indicates where you can or cannot build.
Simply move the building’s ghost until every square on the grid turns green.
Press TAB to change its orientation.
At the beginning of the game, you’ll only be allowed to construct in a limited area around your HQ and refineries.
But you’ll be able to extend your territory throughout the game.
Some buildings also need to be connected to another. Like the Artillery Turret in the opposite picture.
You can also queue a list of buildings. This is useful when you need to fight away from your base.
Careful though, not to block your construction queue.
In case a resource is missing, the icon in the task bar on the bottom of the screen will display a feedback. It’s telling you the production/research can’t progress.
